Race director of the National Champs 2019 (Derry) Ronan McLaughlin wins the Shay Elliot for the second year in a row

The Shay Elliott produced the first back to back winner for a long time when Ronan McLoughlin, Dan Morrissey MIG Pactimo, came home solo to complete the victory. Ronan and Cian Keogh, Team cyclotel, broke away from the break with 70km to go to set up the eventual outcome. However, Cian was unable to hold Ronan when he attacked again in the last 10km. Cian was able to hold off the chasers to solo to a fine 2nd with Dermot Trulock, Lucan leading in a small chasing group for 3rd.
