At Scribe, we don’t like to think we’re like other wheel brands
I met last year Alan Graham while he had presentations at some of the Cycling Ulster top races in the province and was impressed with his stuff, we talked about maybe working together in 2020 as Alan is a great believer in supporting talent and getting people on bikes, right up our project’s street so to speak. And so we did, and can now gladly announce Scribe Cycling as one of the co-sponsors for 2020 which includes funds for the BP bursary scheme! Thank you, Alan, it will make a difference http://www.scribecycling.co.uk
Alan Graham reports: “We are a small brand that creates performance product for serious riders. We draw on decades worth of experience to challenge, test and obsess over detail, to bring a new innovative product to market with a ‘Zero Compromise’ attitude. About 8 years ago, I gave up an engineering career to pursue the sport I love, cycling. Fortunately, N. Ireland had an online cycling powerhouse that was causing ripples on a global scale; Chain Reaction Cycles (CRC), and I naturally found myself in their ranks. Having started as a customer service technical advisor, I soon ended up in CRC’s ‘House Brands’ department where I developed a product for Prime bike wheels, Nukeproof wheels & components, with small amounts of time on the other owned brands. After a whirlwind 5.5 years in CRC, I worked with Hunt bike wheels (1 year), before moving on to start Scribe Cycling.
At Scribe, we don’t like to think we’re like other wheel brands. We work with the best cycling manufacturers in the world and we aim to develop and work exclusively with many of our partners to bring a new product to market. Since launching Scribe in May 2019, we’ve worked hard to get our brand onto the playing field and we’re truly honoured so many riders have been interested in us, and what we’re doing. We sincerely thank you for your support and we promise to continually push the boundaries in pursuit of bringing riders the best pound-for-pound product possible. We hope you like our range and we are always here for you. If you ever have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch! You can get us on the Green chat button, or at team@scribecycling.com
Scribe Cycling also has some ambassadors of the brand, this with supporting and sponsoring talented cyclists, a great initiative to promote the brand and support such athletes!! An introduction of the sponsored riders 2020
Eileen Burns (Ballymena RC) is an excellent fit for Scribe, and ultimately, we were amazed by her ability to consistently deliver incredibly fast times on 15 hour training weeks; and the following provides a light insight on this: 11th at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Individual Time Trial 2018, has a 10-mile PB of 20:03s (top ten fastest female times in the UK – set on N. Ireland roads too!), Irish National TT Champion 2017, has represented Ireland at Worlds and Europeans, multiple Irish National Track medals, And lots more, seriously.

Mitchell Mc Laughlin (Zappi Racing Italy) A gutsy rider who loves hard work and excellent team rider, won the Donegal’s Sports Award 2019. Mitchell road for the Belgian Project composite team in the Ras Donegal a few years ago and impressed me big time due to his locomotive style of racing.
Shay Donley (Dan Morrissey-MIG.ie-Pactimo) a product of the very successful Nico Roche Junior Team, Shay was a Member of the National Junior team in the past, and one of the promising espoirs racing in Ireland.
Neil Lauder (PMR@) Pan Celtic Racer, for those that haven’t heard of the PCR, it’s this Epic Race through some of the most breath-taking scenery in Scotland, Ireland and Wales (England replaces Scotland for 2020 edition). In 2019, the race covered 1,500 miles (2,414 km) with 25,908m (85,000 ft) of elevation gain. Riders mass start and follow a pre-planned route with GPS trackers. Fully self-supported, they battle the elements, the rugged Celtic terrain, each other, and themselves in an attempt to say they completed the PCR. Neil Lauder – 2019 Season 3rd BBAR (Best British All-Rounder) overall & 1st BBAR and 12-hour Team Champions & 1st Kent 12-hour and BAR Champion & 5th Pan Celtic Race …impressive to say the least
