All the way from Donegal to support their youth

As I was visiting the main event later that evening I went a few hours earlier to get a few shots of our upcoming talents, all provinces been represented and with such long break, this youngster couldn’t wait to get started. Smiling faces all around and encouraged by parents and family the racing was fierce. Some showers didn’t kill the atmosphere who was very much felt. Well done Drogheda Wheelers, plenty of directions been given how to compile with the new rules, no hanging around the finish line, car park in a different location, officials wearing masks where needed, sanitizers, etc… I felt safe enough to take photos and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Here below the results of each cat, split up in Boys and Girls courtesy of Gearoid Campbell from Drogheda Wheelers.

Less than 3 weeks to go, Sunday the 16th of August will be a day of battles, fun, and tests, but as we’ve seen down through the years, some of the best friendships are formed during these battles. Looking forward to seeing the action on the road. All info on http://carrickwheelers.com/
