Sunday 20th September 10 am: The Brian Kinning GP (First CX this season) Orangefield Velodrome, Castlereagh, Belfast promoted by Kinning Cycles

The race is dedicated to Brian Kinning who passed away on 15th August 2017. Brian put a lot of work into cycling in his time and this is a great way to remember him. This is the 6th year Kinning Cycles has run a cyclo-cross race at Orangefield Park in Belfast.
We have worked closely with Belfast City Council and Cycling Ireland to set regulations and measures. This is the first step for the sport. There will be no tolerance of rule-breaking as we are in a pandemic. All measures are in place for everyone’s safety and to stop the spread of COVID-19. Any rule breaking can lead to disqualification and a stop to the sport!!!! There are several changes to this year’s race. Please see below. Riders are asked to travel alone to the event and arrive no earlier than 1 hour before their race. Once their race finishes they are expected to leave the event immediately. There will be no prize giving on the day!! Prizes will be done via Bank transfers. The number of races being held is reduced from previous years and the number of participants is also being reduced. There will be no event village. All rider MUST complete a self-assessment personal screening questionnaire prior to the event. Rescheduled for Sunday, 20th September, the 2020 Thomas White Memorial will once again incorporate the National Paracycling TT League; Attracting the top para cyclists in the country alongside the annual Thomas White TT. Event Registration
