The committee of Banbridge announced today: It is with some regret, but likely little surprise, the Banbridge CC Road Race Organising Committee has agreed to postpone the 2021 Travers Engineering Annaclone GP. The event, scheduled to take place on Saturday 6th March, is always a very popular and welcoming opening event to the Ulster and Irish road racing season. Understandably with the current restrictions and risk to public health hosting an event of this nature are not in the interest of the participants, event volunteers, or indeed the local community. As a committee, we very much hope to host the event when circumstances allow and will work with Cycling Ireland to secure a suitable date in the calendar.
