Megan Armitage giving it all…when you are on your own in a race of this caliber it becomes very hard…she was in the main peloton when a crash occurred, she had to abandon the race, no broken bones but need stitches in her face, we wish her a speedy recovery of her wounds, don’t understand why CI couldn’t select one or two more…there is certainly upcoming talent in Ireland who could have deserved a go …a lost opportunity in my opinion …but then who am I… (Photo Toby Watson)
