My thoughts are with the promoters of these races, so much hard work has gone into it, you deserve better

Promoter Garry Nugent from the Victus TOU told us this afternoon” Hi All, It is with a heavy heart I advise the postponement of the 2022 Victus Tour of Ulster. We have been working behind the scenes pushing for entries, but they have not materialised. Disappointingly we have seen a reduction of 50% on entries from previous years, meaning it is not viable to host the event to the level expected owing to sporting and financial requirements. We will take stock and build towards a bigger and better event for 2023. I want to thank you all for your help and support this year, and we will keep in touch for the 2023 event”

Harps CC told us yesterday: “We regret to announce that this weekend’s Mid Ulster Grand Prix Races and John McCullagh Youth Races races have all been cancelled to a severe lack of entries.
Apologies on behalf of Harps CC to all those who had already pre-entered . All entries will be refunded asap”
