CARL FULLERTON (Donegal Bay CC & current board CI) Nominated for PRESIDENT
Carl is a business man from Donegal (Donegal Harvest Potatoes) with an intense love for cycling, as still a competitor in TT events, despite being over 70 years old, visits event at all corners of Ireland, and being a member of the Ulster Executive for many years, and a board member at present of CI …We need a man like Carl in that position, this to safe guard the future of Cycling Ireland, a honest and genuine person we trust to serve as president…He has certainly my vote as a friend, but foremost his dedication towards our beloved sport, so it is a no-brainer…CARL FOR PRESIDENT!!
Claire Young (Current CI board member & Ex-Ulster Executive) nominated for the Federation Secretary position with no-one opposing
I only know Claire for a few years, and has immensely impressed me with her drive and dedication towards Women’s Cycling in Ireland, she received only last week the “VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR 2022″ from Cycling Ulster and taking on a very difficult job on as CI secretary will be a very challenging one due to all the negative news lately by the federation behaviour…Claire can raise above this and as Carl, someone who is brave enough to take on this responsibility, a family woman from Lisburn who understand what such job entailed…We wish her a lot of luck” When attending the AGM…vote for CLAIRE to seal the appointment!! regards Dany
