Foreword Dany: ” I was so chuffed to be invited together with my wife Maggie to be guests of honour at the 2022 BRC Dinner Award night, and to present the awards to the winning club members. I even done a talk that was scheduled for 5 minutes, but describing 14 years in such time was tight, and it became a bit longer…I have a longstanding friendship with the Antrim club, as commissaire, and later as media and MC…even had a few lads as graduates of the project in earlier days, such as Conor Mc Allister, Matthew Brennan and Philip Bremner. But been giving the proceeds of the tombola was for me a big surprise, and have to thank all the people who attended for such kindness, it will give an extra young talent some help next year as bursary holder or graduate. As courtesy and appreciation, I have added BRC as “Sponsors in Kind” for next year! Giving my long suffering wife a bunch of flowers was a nice touch too, without her there would not be a project!!
