Upon the conclusion of racing the final results of the three rounds gave us our three podium finishers
1st. Nathan Keown
2nd. Ross Blayney
3rd. Luke Joyce

We also had a “Under Age” race…it took me 6 shots before they calmed down a bit and relaxed…got them right in the end ..lol

There was a further award given to Ross Blayney for being the top NDCC rider of the series and was awarded the Stephen Bell memorial trophy. On the night spot prizes drawn randomly and kindly supplied by Gerry from Fit Studio (NI). Jonny Adams, William Larmour, Yesten Smith the lucky winners!

A word off appreciation of the NDCC committee: Thank you to everyone who took part this year and hopefully will see you again competing with us. To the children and their parents who brought them along, we hope you really enjoyed your nights with us and it was everything you had hoped for. Lastly our thanks and appreciation goes out to those involved in making this happen.Thank you, Ross Blayney and his team of organisers,The timekeepers and photo finish, Finish line Co-ordinators, Marshalls, Sign on volunteers, Paramedics, and Kirkistown race track for allowing us to use the facilities. Ian Blayney off NDCC welcomes Jesse Ewart to our shores…Jesse came over from Italy (where he is based) for the Nationals in Dungannon, and prepares for the second half of the season…his team in based in Malaysia..His home is in Newcastle, New South Wales (Australia) First time I talked to him and a well respected pro in the world of cycling…we wish him good luck!! Another legend of our Ulster cycling up front here…son of Dave Kane, brother of Mark Kane and Debbie Barclay (RIP) Paul Kane, a very well know international rider in his time, he now runs a successful cycling boutique on the Newtownards Road in East Belfast
