Sunday 10th November: “The Shimna Cross” Donard Park Newcastle Co-Down 10 am

The course is set in Donard Park located at the end of Newcastle Main Street just in behind the seafront houses.  This is the fourth time that host club Shimna Wheelers will be holding an event at this site. The site comprises of different grass and wooded areas which will be tied in together to form the circuit. The youth courses will be set up in their own area, on the lower grass and wooded section.

Monday 11th November: The First-ever INDOOR CX in Ireland, E-Trax, Moira Antrim 7 pm

The race is run by Kinning Cycles along with E-trax Cycling Ireland rules and regulations. The race is an “open” event and we welcome all entries. The venue offers short course racing with exciting entertainment. There is a large warm indoor café for spectating. The course welcomes itself to newcomers or those wanting to train. We understand that a Monday night may not suit most but there are plans for future dates over Christmas. Depending on numbers we might run a 2 tier race for the senior men. If there are enough women we will run a women’s only race. All youth riders are welcome.
