The Cycling |Ulster 2022 AGM was held today (Sat 22nd Oct) in the Glenavon Hotel (Cookstown Co-Tyrone) An interesting afternoon we had, and well deserved awards been handed over to “Club of the Year” winners Island Wheelers, and “Volunteer of the Year” Claire Young!! A sad week for the friends and family of Pamela Benson (78 years old Innisfree Wheelers CC club member) who passed away in Sligo University Hospital this week, caused by her terrific injuries of a crash, which occurred a few weeks ago…Pamela was a very enthusiastic cyclist and very well known and loved in the Connaught Cycling world…May Pamela now rest in peace…our sincere condolences…
