The final round of the truncated 2020 series took place this evening under blue skies and in brilliant sunshine. The 4 groups in this 50 minute plus 3 lap race came together a lot quicker than usual with only 25 minutes of racing completed. Thereafter it was always going to be a case of whoever can get away will contest the win as a group of this magnitude would be very difficult to marshall. Despite the best efforts of most of the A1 group at some stage in the following 40 odd minutes of effort, it came down to a bunch sprint to decide the outcome. This resulted in Richard Maes, Strata3 Velo Revolution taking the win by the absolute narrowest of margins from Thomas Walsh, Dan Morrissey Pactimo with Fintan Ryan, Kingspan completing the podium(Sean Rowe)
