Sean Rowe reported on his social media page: The Seamus Kennedy Memorial GP held over 5 laps of a rolling 22km course around Nobber, Co. Meath Sunday, March 6th. The race was won by Liam Curley, TU Dublin, who broke away on the last lap with 2 others from what was already a very strong breakaway group of 11 riders who had jumped the field on lap 2. Although this group never had more than 1.00min over the chasers and some riders left and rejoined the break during the course of the race. The very fast pace, the race averaged over 42km/hr on the rolling terrain, ensured plenty of attacks over the last 2 laps. In the end, Curley got the better of Saturday’s Annacone winner Dean Harvey, Spellman Dublin Port with Gareth O’Neill, Caldwell Cycles taking the last place on the podium.
