Megan told me on Monday “It was a really nice course, the main climb
I had already done it in the “Brabantse Pijl” so I knew it pretty well. I managed to get away solo in the last 3.5 laps and held it to the line so I was really happy to get the win. I just need to do it in the bigger races now ?” Well Megan, winning any race in Belgium with such an international line-up (such as Zoe Backstedt) is always a big result!! 70 riders started with only 43 riders finishing the 88km in Halle-Buizingen near Brussel…so well done xx
