“The Angel of Markethiil” would be my description of the First aider Jo Quinn, Orchard told social media: “Jo, who arguably was the hardest worked at our Crit on Sunday! From the warm-up lap in girl’s U11 to the final race of the day, boy’s U16, Jo Quinn was literally run off her feet caring for injured riders. When the first responders arrived to tend to a more serious incident they were super impressed at Jo’s professionalism. Can we also mention her backup Wendy Ogilby-Black, doubling up on her sign-on role, who was also called on when there were multiple incidents on the course!!
A special word of thanks has to be said to local GP Wesley Wright who, on his way back from an MTB training session at Gosford Forest Park, assisted Jo with a fairly serious incident in the U16 Crit, Thank you all!”
