Foreword Dany B: “Months of organising, finding sponsors, establishing the route, the pit stops, the accomidations, and so much more this 2 lads been at to make this event successful and as safe possible for the competitors. Sean Mc Fadden and Eugene Mc Gettigan (Errigal CC members) are a special breed, helped by their families and friends for the duration, which was over 30 hours before the last man arrived, welcoming each rider on the finishing ramp with a medal, and the winners trophies. Their volunteers on the roads standing for hours on end in the rain!! Just something special I witnessed now for the 4th time, the families and friends at the start and finish area, the cheers, the tears, the pain of the arrivals, the joy and the feeling of overcoming a challenge to their bodies and brains, you just have to admire such athletes. I could go on and on, but in a nutshelf….CHAPEAU!!! Also a big thank you to the Donegal 555 for inviting me to do the commentary and tunes, I felt very much part of the whole event, and the generous donation to our Belgian Project, they are now an offical co-sponsor of the project till at least end 2024 as courtesy for their support, an upgrade of their current “sponsor in kind” status…joining my other benefactors, very proud of adding them to my other loyal sponsors, thank you so much, and my admiration to all who competed or helped out…you are all something special!!
