The 2023 Castlebar GP last Sunday (26th March) hosted by the longest running cycling club in Co-Mayo had the 1st year junior Conor Prendergast (Galway Bay CC) making a big statement, with winning the GP, keeping big names more than a minute away!! Steven Edmundson (Westport Covey Wheelers) wins the bunch sprint of the supporting A4 race!! The results >>

Matthew Devins had to make a 5 minutes handicap right, and stranded 1 minute away from the 16 year old winner…his form is indicating he is ready for the Ras Mumhan, already won the Ras Mayo overall, this with 3 stage wins! and could be a contender for the podium in Kerry!! (photo below)
